Hello Everyone

I'm a solo male traveller coming to India from the U.K for the first time, I plan to spend my first 2 weeks exploring Himachal Pradesh starting 17th October In Delhi
After doing some research I have decided that this may be a feasible route

Delhi - Shimla - Reckong Peo - Sangla&Chitkul- Nako - Tabo - Kaza - Losar - Manali - Dharamsala - Mcleodganj - Pathankot - Delhi

I understand that most of this route can be completed with a bus apart from The final train back to Delhi.

Is this a recommended route? Is it too much to fit into 2 weeks? I could possibly extend this timeframe.

If the route is recommended How long would be needed to enjoy each area, I am hoping to do some treks along the way so any advise would be much appreciated.

Also would booking a place to stay in advance be best? or will I be able to secure accommodation by just showing up as and when Sorry for all the questions!!!

Many Thanks

It's too much, you would be travelling almost everyday & wouldn't have time to see the places you are visiting. Travel in Himalaya's is very tiring, especially by bus. I would skip Spiti, plus it will be getting cold there that time of year.

Try something like this Delhi 2nts Shimla 2nts Rewalsar Lake & Mandi 2nts Manali/Vashist/Nagar 3nts Dharamsala/McLeod 3-4nts Amritsar (Golden Temple 1nt train back to Delhi. No need to book hotels, just turn up.
