Hey all!

I'm traveling to india from Germany for 3-4 month. My german health insurance would end (with my latest job contract).
Any recommendations for a cheap nice health insurance?

Thank you all in advance

There are lot many (just google to find one) but it would be better if you could carry one from your home country...

If the ADAC long trip insurance (only for German Residents) does not work for you, look at ELVIA by Allianz.

I have an Allianz all-year-round travel insurance (called Secure Trip Plus), including car assistance, health and accident, (private medical upto 1 Mio Francs), plus legal expenses insurance, flight delays, cancellation etc. for CHF 215. Probably cheaper in Germany.

I think a lot of year-long travel insurance has limits for the length of each trip, right? Usually not more than 6 weeks?

In the UK i would suggest looking at gap-year type offers, but I don't know if this is something that is done in Germany...

With Allianz Global Assistance a year-long-travel insurance allows for one single trip lasting 365 days. If a policy is taken for a shorter trip, the maximum duration is 92 days.
