Hi
I am travelling from Bhuj to Dwarka on the 18th Oct.
My original plan (which may still happen) is below if vaguely interested but I may well need an alternative. There are no direct trains and I can't even find a connection route without going back to Ahmedabad which is something I would like to avoid. Bus companies are mentioned but when I try to book they say there are no buses on that day (or, as it turns out, any other day). It looks like cab is the only option. Does anyone have any suggestions other than the two I have covered here?
I had hoped to take the ferry from Mandvi to Okha which, according to their website, starts up in Sep. Messages to the contact email are never answered but I did contact someone from their agent list who does actually answer their mails. He now says that he hopes, yes, hopes it will start first Oct. A but flimsy and a bit tight.

Always do sober what you said you'd do drunk. That will teach you to keep your mouth shut.

Reason: reword
If you go to the site of the GSRTC you see that they offer 2 connections.
No idea if you can book them on-line. But out of curiosity I selected the bus for to-night and there are still seats left.
Hope this helps.

It could also be possible that one can not book tickets before a certain number of days. It could be 30 days before the date of travel or less. Please check on 18th or 19th September.

Thanks Vonkla. I checked this out and also a Patel Tours & Travels. Where it all falls down is the mobile number. It needs to be an Indian one. If it wasn't for Diwali I would book when I get there.
