Vinyl records in Goa ?

Off to Goa again in a few weeks and wondered if anyone knew of anywhere I could buy old vinyl records. Will be in Bardez/Calangute area but going to Mapusa, Panji, Bagga and Anjuna at the very least.

Any advise welcomed

Cheers

Hi. I'm looking for English music on 33, 45 and 78's depending on artists. Mainly looking for 50' and 60's stuff

Ohhhh hopefully soemone will reply. I was searching all india for "big black CDs". The only spot I found some was in Kochi, Kerala. Hundreds of records were stacked in a backroom, mostly Malayalam and Tamil music.

Please, if anyone got any info about vinyl ANYWHERE, be so kind to post it here.

I recently went for an embassy sale in diplomat area in new delhi. Guy was moving back to europe, he had almost 300 lps collected...by the time i reached half was already sold off...

He was charging a real premium for his records though...i did manage to buy floyd, stones, beatles & tom petty from him...must say the guy had maintained the LPs really well...

Place an advert in the newspaper when you get there.

I think I've seen vinyl Indian classical mentioned as rotting away in Mint Street, Chennai. If I find that thread on another forum, I'll confirm.

Another internet resource www.hifivision.com . An increasing number of vinyl fans there.
