Prepaid taxi at Karmali station, Goa?

I am arriving by train at Karmali railway station and have to reach Queeny Nagar.
Will I find prepaid taxi at Karmali station? Or even otherwise taxis?
IS Uber/Ola available at this place?
Otherwise I would need to spend another one hour to reach Madgaon station. And that I would rather avoid.

I don't recollect seeing one at Karmali..
There would be taxi's available, but not prepaid. So either you bargain with the taxi's available or else walk out to the main road - 100 mts and get a bus.. Now the buses will be going both ways - either to Panjim or towards Pilar or Agacaim. If you are okay with bus, we could discuss that further, but it will include atleast a couple of change of vehicles.
It is around 20 km from the railway station, takes 30 minute +.
Rickshaws will be available and so would be pilots (motorcyle taxis - okay for a solo rider without much luggage). Pilots will usually drop you till Pilar junction or at the most Agacaim.

Bus would probably take time. I need to reach Queeny nagar rather quickly.
So, I wonder how much a taxi would charge from Karmali to Queeny nagar---it is about 20 km.
Will rickshaw go 20 kms?
I have a medium-sized luggage. I can hold it but I guess it won't be too safe. And anyway it is not going direct to my destination.
Thanks

Rickshaw will go too probably but the fare may be a bomb.. You will be better off with a taxi then.
Not sure how much they may ask for - locals can get around way cheaper than outsiders. No point giving you a figure - it will vary widely and wildly!
OLA was functional in Goa and a way better bet to travel than the taxis. Availability may be an issue. (No OLA when I was there almost 10 years back - started later.)

OLA was functional in Goa? It is no longer?
I guess I will just have to bear being ripped off by taxi guys. For the train will take 1 hour from Karmali to Madgoan and it is again 20 km from Madgoan to Queeny Nagar,

OLA could be there even now, unless the local taxi guys have managed to drive them away..

Checked with the app - says - sorry, we don't provide service for this area.

So Taxi seems the only way around as you mention decent luggage and difficulty travelling on a bus.

Had travelled about 4 years back and there was a pre paid taxi counter. However, there will be limited cars. Hence you need to b amongst the first to alight. Had taken a Mumbai - Madgaon train and it made an unscheduled stop at Karmali. We rushed with our luggage and were able to find one of the few taxis stationed at the pre paid counter.

Ask the taxi for a price, barter down and if they say no just say "ok i will get the bus" once you start walking they will call you back, works eveyrtime.
