Hello,

I just returned from a 5 days trip of goa 24-28 september.

Here are the main points :

1) First let me tell you : Don't worry about rains in september end. There are occasional showers but most of them are of max. 10 minutes.

2) Tourists were full in Calangute, Baga, Anjuna, Arambol etc...

3) There were many beach shacks and clubs open in Baga, Anjuna and Arambol.

4) Panjim and nearby areas is also flocked with tourists.

5) The roads were good. We visited many places with a rented activa without any problem. Never encountered any problem or any traffic jam.

6) Make sure to visit Tito's lane and nearby areas. Many of them having club and beach parties daily.

7) Goa is lush green and the atmosphere is great...even better than march last year..

8) Mapusa friday market is also open during this time (although we didn't visit)

9) Beach lifeguard were present at each and every beach...baga, anjuna, arambol..etc...so i think the issue between Govt and that lifeguard agency is sorted out.

10) Everything is cheap in sep. : from hotel to airline tickets to renting activa!

Day 1 : 24th Sep 2013 : Reached Thivim Railway Station in the morning. Took a bus to mapusa --> Calangute to reach our hotel. After a quick rest, we rent an activa with a local seller at 175 rs per day (with helmet, 1 lit petrol included). We quickly reached panjim and had a good lunch over there at a local restaurant.

After lunch, we returned to Baga beach. Water was good and safe for swimming. We returned to our hotel for afternoon rest. In the evening, we headed for anjuna beach. We walked around 1 km+ on anjuna beach to reach curlies. It was almost full when we reached there. Indian tourist and foreign tourist were in great numbers. Meet a israeli band guys and had a good time at the curlies during sunset playing football and listening to awesome music!

We returned to the hotel in the night after having dinner at Sitas Restaurant, Vagator (V.good restaurant)

Day 2 : 25th Sep 2013 : We started our day at Calangute beach and soon covered Anjuna, Ashwen and Arambol beach. Although Ashwen beach was not crowded, other 2 were full on party beaches. We visited Arambol lake and played different sports at the beach. In the night, we returned to Sitas for a good dinner and after that back to the hotel.

Day 3 : 26th Sep 2013 : We visited panjim and nearby areas like dona-paula beach, fountainhas etc...tourists were in good number at both places..returned to calangute for lunch. Afternoon rest at the hotel. In the evening, did few shopping here and there. Also visited Anjuna Flea market which was open but with around 15-20 sellers only. Thus, not open on a full scale.

Day 4 : 27th Sep 2013 : We did rest today and just chilled at nearby beaches. In the night, we saw many clubs like titos and others were having beach party. We attended one of the beach party but left early as we were having flight tomorrow.

Day 5 : Checked out of the hotel and reached airport for the afternoon flight.

Looks great. I'd welcome hearing about any hotels / guesthouses or beach huts you stayed at. You seemed to visit a lot of beaches in one day, are they all very close together? I though there'd at least be a days travel inbetween them all!
