Hi guys,

Im due to spend 6 weeks in India and have a flight from Delhi to VSG on 16th October. I'm afyer your advice/experiences as to how busy it will be?

I'm aware November is typically the start of the peak season but im wondering which area/beach will be the busiest and how much life I can reasonably expect. I currently have 4 nights planned for Anjuna beach and im under the impression it will be the busiest?

As you may tell from the above im mainly after a good social/fun time when I'm in Goa as the following and preceeding weeks should be quieter. Looking to meet otherbackpackers and have a bit of a party.

Anjuna beach is a good choice for social fun and for meeting other backpackers. Anjuna in October will be active with many backpackers but in my opinion not the busiest as I think it is Baga/Calangute that gets the busiest.

While Baga/Calangute/Candolim attracts a mix of tourists the Anjuna area is still the choice of the backpacker visitors.

In your October stay period if you find Anjuna to be a bit quiet for you then you can also check out the Tito's lane area in Baga for restaurants/bars/nightclubs.

Thanks for the reply. I was just a bit worried it would be Dead! If Anjuna is quiet I can always move on up to Baga.
