Hi Guys,

Kindly suggest some Family Resort Hotel in North Goa?
Mid-range between 4k-5k.

Looking for -
Good food (Veg.) + Resort Ambience + Family Type.

Thanks,

Thank You Aarosh.
I will review this & consider.

How about Golden Tulip Resort Candolim OR Ocean Palms Calangute considering above requirements?

I have no idea about it. Some other member(s) may be able to comment on it.

My recommendation is based on my personal experience.

Thanks Aarosh. Agree
I will wait for other members feedback for Golden Tulip Candolim / Ocean Palms Calangute.

By-the-way,
For Spice Planatation visit in Gia, I found there are many -
Tropical Spice Plantation
Sahakari Spice Farm
Savai Spice etc.

1. Which one is recommended for authentic experience?
2. Can we just go with family by own 2-wheeler from Candolim area and without booking? If not, what is recommended way to experience this?

Thanks,

Been to Tropical Spice plantation, had inquired at Sahakari Spice Farm before going there.

Shall recommend Tropical, but then what do you want to see there is equally important. You will get to know see many spices, eat goan food (we are veg, had decent variety) and sample feni. You will also have the option of elephant bath and elephant ride there.

It is a fair distance from Candolim, two wheeler drive would be strenuous, you will be leaving in late morning, it would be hot along the way. Trucks are many along the way as well. We had a car, so were comfortable. Option is to hire a cab, would cost a good sum.
I would say take adequate precations for the sun, leave early, visit places enroute like Old Goa (move beyond the churches on the main road if you like), Mangueshi temple, Butterfly Conservatory and then reach Spice plantation by 1-2 pm. So the travel can be broken in parts.

If you are interested to further extend that trip and the distance traveled - Bondla Zoo and Tambdi Surla temple.

ETA - No booking required usually for the spice plantations.

This is a low range option, but a well recommended one. Think about Kingstork Villa @Calangute. Stanley is the person you can talk to, eventually you will have to mail him to confirm your booking.

Property is right on the beach, has swimming pool, is accessible to all touristy things nearby.

Thanks,

LaVida Residency Suites. Its not resort type. But you get yummy veg food, nice ambience, hygienic room. best for family. Plus its in low range 1500-2500 if you book it via Goibibo.. The manager and all staff are very nice. Stayed there for 3 nights. It was a very nice experience. Just give a look
