Since Saturday morning, Goa's coast has been getting a lot of rough waves, and a lot of water ingressing especially during high tide. Though the government has said that there is no cyclone threat, the rough seas are too dangerous to venture into at this point.

On sunday too, the situation was much worse with these pictures surfacing http://tv.indiascribes.com/alert-pic...cyclone-ockhi/

Lifeguards were ordering people not to enter the water. No fishing boats were noticed on the coastline too.

Beaches known to have had effects are Palolem, Agonda, Cavelossim, Colva, Majorda, Baina (Vasco). There might be more beaches affected, however, this is from eyewitness reports.

I live in Colva and suggest that all visitors in Goa should exercise caution along the coast and must check with the lifeguards before trying to swim in the next few days.
