Hi, I recently applied (3rd) for an OCI Miscallenous for myself and was told it would take no longer than a week.

Unfortunately, I havenít heard anything. No updates, not even an acknowledgement...

My daughters happened very quickly last month, in a matter of few weeks.

Any help or advice...?

Many thanks

Just a week would be mind-blowing.

A week would be a miracle. The new documents are printed in India and it takes time for them to reach VFS office.

When I applied for Miscellaneous services for Mrs GP due to to a new passport, It took three weeks.

Keep checking the online status. Hopefully it will change soon.

I thought, perhaps wrongly so, that between ages of 20-50, & 50- one did not need Miscellaneous Application for new passports. Am I missing something ?

My application was processed. I have submitted my passport on Tuesday. When do you think I should receive my OCI and passport? Also do they come together (cannot remember?)

Takes about a week to 10 days. Both will come together.

I have a slight issue, I am flying on Monday afternoon at 5pm. What should I do? I really need it by tomorrow or Monday at the latest. I do not know who to contact, any advice?

Thanks

Contact the people to whom you submitted your passport. There must be a way of tracking the package.

How about a quick trip to the embassy?
Personal appearance always helps in comparison to telephone calls.
