Hi, recently I received a 2 year business visa and am returnng to India in Aug to operate a small business in Goa. Can anyone give me any insights on applying for residency once I arrive back, what the routine is in Panjim.
Thanks

Hi Gipsi47. You will have to register yourself within 14 days of arriving in India at the Foreigners Registration Office in Panjim(Panaji). If you are less than 60 years old you may be asked to produce a certificate showing that you are AIDS-free. This rule is not applied uniformly so you may not be asked, but if you have to get a certificate then you can get one at the Goa Medical College in Bambolim.

Are you starting a restaurant/travel agency in Goa?

If you have any further questions send me a PM through the forum.
