E-Visa Arrest question

Quote:
Have you ever been arrested/prosecuted/convicted
Is there any possibility to answer "yes/no/no"?

I suppose, of it is an online form, probably not.

I'd go with Sana's reading and say no.

Point of interest: would a foreign consulate have access to criminal records anyway?

Life gets aadhar every day.

Normally I would say, tell the truth and shame the devil, but in this case I think it might be a case of least said, soonest mended.
Lord, Grant me the Serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to hide the bodies of those people I had to kill because they pissed me off.

I believe that by "/" they mean OR, but interpret it as AND, and then you have not lied.

There is no problem here. People who have 'fessed up to past crimes have in some cases gotten visas, but in your case there is no reason to share information.

The correct answer, unfortunately, is yes - regardless of how one twists it. All the internet opinions aside, it is you who is answering the question and hold the responsibility and consequences of the answer you choose to give. Chances are, you will likely get away with a no but, like nycank says, it could come back to you at some stage.
