Hi Guys,

I am trying to apply for Schengen visa for a trip of 10 to 12 days. My name is having problems with the middle name in passport and other documents.

Also in ITR it is a spelling mistake. Can someone tell me what are the implications?
Thank you so much in Advance.

In Schengen visa form you should enter the name as has been mentioned in the Passport.

There should not be much problem due to spelling and middle name mismatch. You may have to explain these anomalies...

Hey, can you suggest me something on the similar lines.

I have similar issue. In all my educational documents my name is "Sana Bano Shaikh" (Bano being a middle name)
In my passport , the name is Sana Shaikh. No middle name . documents used for passport were Adhar card, bank passbook, birth certificate and Pan card which have my name in it as "Sana Shaikh" hence the passport came this way.

Now when I would be applying for a German visa, of course the letter of acceptance will be with the name "Sana Bano Shaikh" which is in my educational certificates. but passport will differ then. Do you think this can be an issue? How to sort it then?

If anyone else can also suggest something, please help.

You should mention your name as has been mentioned in the passport. There should not be any problem in getting the visa.
