It may take around a month as police will have to do a thorough verification. They will submit their positive response only after being fully satisfied.

You will have to provide appropriate answers of all the questions. Time taken depends on various factors.

You must provide correct responses without fearing consequences.

Born and brought up where ?

Are you saying that you were in Saudi, and they deported you ?

Emergency certificate is what exactly, in your case ? A one time temporary document to travel back to the country of your citizenship ?

So you waited for the amnesty to end and then come back on emergency certificate, why would you do that and what is the reason you gave for emergency certificate?

Usually, there is a fine, you pay and you get the passport, but no one can tell what the officials decide in your case as Indian authorities did a huge campaign to utilise amnesty and come back to India.

Your name does not support your Passport cause Sizzlingdon

Then you do not need to worry, the government knows all about you that needs to be known. Just state facts and you should have your passport (if all documents are in place). Don't bother about time at this moment, there is nothing you can do to speed the process.
