Airports (in Delhi) explained
Hello and sorry if this has been asked and answered already, I didn't find the precise answer.
I will land at the International Terminal on October 1st at 10:30pm, and I have to catch a flight to Leh (G8-155) at 5:35am (though it seems to have been delayed to 8:35am).
What is the most convenient way to go from one terminal to the other ? I read that there is a shuttle, but does it work all night ?
Thanks in advance.
Cheers,
Olivier
P.S. : I wanted to bring some clothes to Leh to hand over, but as a consequence, my luggage may be over the weight threshold. Do you know if they enforce precisely the luggage weight ?

Olivier,
The shuttle does work all night. Waiting time of around 30 minutes between shuttle trips and about 30 minutes for the travel.
Is your query on overweight luggage for the international leg or the domestic leg ?
For the domestic leg, it depends on the airline and sometimes even the persons at the counter on a given day. Which airline are you flying from Delhi to Leh ?

They do indeed, and especially to Leh as the aircraft loading is quite critical at this high-altitude airport. Also, I think you have to check everything in for Leh as they do not normally allow you to take any cabin baggage on this sector. Edit: Sorry that is only for flights that start in Leh, not for flights going to Leh.

Terminal 3
Can anyone confirm that flights to Leh with Kingfisher airlines leaving from terminal 3 is the same terminal that you land in when arriving from Singapore?

IT(Kingfisher) has no operations left at terminal 1D. All ops are in Terminal 3. T# distances are a broblem for Seniors.ON our arruval half way down w had a pick up by the courtsey electric car.But twice during our departure we had to walk or use the walalator. No electric cars were available

Kingfisher from Dehli to Dharamasala
I am planning on flying from Dehli to Dharamasala on Aug 27. I arrive at the International terminal at 6:20 am. I don't know how long it will take to clear Customs (a couple of hours?). My queestions are:
- How far is the domestic terminal from the International arrvials terminal?
- How far is the domestic terminal from the International arrvials terminal?

More questions:
My flight is to leave at 11:10 am. Do I have time or should I plan for the 3:00 pm flight?
Is taking a cab the best way to the domestic terminal?
I have not booked my domestic flights yet as I am concerned with the logistics. Any help is appreciated.

Thank you. In my search for information on Kingfisher flights, I did come across informtion that Kingfisher left from the same terminal as the international fights. This is convienient. I sure hope that I sleep on my incoming flight as I will be a total wreck by the time I get to Dharmasala. I won't know which direction to go!
Ok here is a Question for everyone! My wife and I are newbies to India and we will be taking a flight from Delhi to Kathmandu, and then upon our return to Delhi, taking another immediat flight to Pune. Are we going to have to switch terminals in Delhi? If so how hard is it to get from the international terminal to the national terminal?
Thanks in advance!
Thanks in advance!

Visa questions aside (i.e 2 month gap rule for tourist visa) it would help if you could let us know which airline you will take from Delhi to Pune. Jet&affliates Kingfisher & Affliates Air India and affliates all are in one terminal i.e T3. The LCCs are in 1D as of few months ago Similar Threads
