Must confess, I saw this first on the TT posted by pmcclure72.

Effective October 26, 2003, Air Canada will commence daily non-stop service between Toronto and Delhi, the only non-stop air link between North America and India. The new service will shave at least three hours off traditional best routings offering travellers the convenience of early arrival times that allow for connections to many key onward destinations.

Further Details.

The bad news is that you have to fly Air Canada. Shorter is better, for sure.
