Hi there guys! I'll hopefully arrive in Delhi at Jan. 30. with emirates at 09:15 am. I would like to book a domestic flight the same day to Bagdogra. The selected flight with Spicejet would depart at 11:20.
Spicejet says we have to show up at least 30min before departure.
I've never been at the DEL Airport, but do you think that we'll get this flight? Otherwise we would have to stay at Delhi for one day as i cannot find a later flight to bagdogra that day.
So between landing and departing again we will have 2:05 hours. (If emirates arrives in time. Another risk...)
Do the domestic and the international airport also have the same shortening DEL? I don't know how long the transfer between both terminals might take...
What do you think? Is it manageable? Or to risky?
Finaly, after i wrote my post, i think it will be too risky. During writing, i recognized too many factors...
But if you got an idea... Let me hear it

thanks for your help!

You are right. 2.00 hours is a too risky. You also need to transfer between the international and domestic terminal.

It takes an hour from the indicated reaching time to actually cross the customs and collect luggage.

Not too many ideas here - earlier emirates flight ? have you checked cleartrip.com ? Any other carrier's later flights ?

It is the same airport therefore has the same shortening as DEL. Though domestic and international terminals are well apart from each other. You would require an intra-terminal transit after clearing customs.

Have you looked at the possibility of flying through Mumbai ? Emirates has much more connections to mumbai than through Delhi.
