Hello

I made a plan with my family to visit Darjeeling on 4th. July, 2016 for three days after staying at a tea garden home stay near Kurseong for a night.

Is it safe to visit Darjeeling during monsoon ?

Regards

This is one of those questions which can't be replied in a yes or no. Chances of rain will be high. You may get stuck because of road blocks. I for one avoid such time. But all being said and done you may have a perfect trip as well, weatherise. Who can predict such a thing ?
Cheers

Personally, it would be a NO for me. Because of monsoon, there are more chances of landslides, road blocks and disruption in train services. Most rivers in the North Bengal are already on-rise.
