Any place to buy decent quality, but not super expensive, warmer mens clothing?

This is probably a stupid question, but I'm traveling to Darjeeling in a few days with my wife, and I haven't brought any warm cloths. I realize it may not be SUPER cold in Darjeeling (especially by my Michigan born definition of cold), but I'm going to be continueing on to Korea and then Japan after this, and don't have any warm clothing.

I'm wondering if anybody knows of a specific store/bazaar/etc that I might be able to get decent quality warm-ish weather clothing for a good price. I'm talking long sleeve button up shirts, perhaps fleece, or a light jacket. I don't really care about fashion at all, though I'd prefer to not be wearing something flashy/super brandy ("TOMMY HILFIGURE!!!!", etc ).

I have NO sense of the size/atmosphere in Darjeeling, so I'm not sure how stupid of a question this is. Let me know .

And thank you!

I guess you are in kolkata now, since you are planning darjeeling.
there are thermal inners available, which you can wear inside your regular cloths, and those will keep you warm in sept-oct conditions of darjeeling.
Monte carlo shops may have woolens in kolkata.
there is another shop in lenin sarani of kolkata (close to esplanade end), gajkumar brothers. they keep woolens for 365 days. you may try there.
for korea and japan, you need heavy woolens and good fleece jackets.
you may order them online. i am not sure who delivers in kolkata.

if you are travelling through bangalore, mumbai or new delhi, you can buy good stuff directly from shops at reasonable price.

one more point today i came to know. the shopowners are offering good discounts on most of the printed prices, reason is everything is available online these days in india at a cheaper rate.
so always ask for what is the discount price (equivalent to online prices/online discounts).

While it isn't clear to me why you would not purchase a nice dual layer parka from Gilroy Premium Outlet (there is a Columbia store), assuming Kolkata is closest, look for a wildcraft store. The store locator on the wildcraft site shows me three outlets : http://www.wildcraft.in/pages/Wildcr...gid-69874.aspx. The company has plenty of stores nationwide (check the site) and you should be able to buy a reasonably good fleece and an outer shell for the rain. Good luck with Darjeeling.

I have seen that a wildcraft store is there at Mani Square Mall. There must be others. Google if required.
Cheers
