dhona, welcome to the site, but please note that SMS or chat lingo is not allowed. Our members come from all over the world: how would you expect someone who speaks only a little English to figure out what "tym" is supposed to mean?

Please stick with us, but post in proper English!

youngsters go to these malls to ogle each other. I guess that's a kind of romance!

Has anyone been the beach in Theosophical Society? It's open for a few hours everyday. I am guessing it should be romantic because it's a beautiful place.

The Theosophical society itself is a great place to go to but please understand that due to the historical significance of the place and they would insist upon a certain code of conduct.
Here are some photographs of the place: http://sankriti.blogspot.com/2009/07...ty-madras.html

I have been on the beach at the theosophical society, but I did not think that it was normally accessible.

The gardens are a wonderful oasis of peace. Whilst they are, during certain hours, open to the public, access can be limited, depending on who is around and who is enforcing what. One can always get as far as the Big Banyan Tree, sometimes they won't let people go further. This is my experience: another person might say they have been there a hundred times without being stopped!

Still... even that is far enough to enjoy the flowers, trees, birds, animals, peace...

I can't see any pics!

Damn... I nearly bought a house that would have overlooked that place, and it was affordable at that time. Still... the traffic would have been hell.

Smile

Hello board members . My friend's birthday is coming up . We are planning to invite or greet her by showering her with rose petals . We are a group of 5 and are planning to spend around 5 hours together . Would be excellent if any of you can suggest any place or an eatery which would meet such requirements We dont mind paying extra or making sure that no rose petals are left behind lying on the floor . Would like to make this an unforgettable birthday and a very special one as she has been through lot of stress because of CA exams and stuff .
