Thank god for Monty Python.
It's probably an urban legend. I just downloaded Vol I of the "History of the English-Speaking Peoples" and read through the first two chapters. There is no mention of King Arthur there.

That's a shame... because if it isn't true, it should be!

Downloading that stuff is courageous enough, reading 2 chapters? Heroic!

Princess oogling in the age of Twitter and #metoo

Three days prior to the full moon, in the month of Magh, in Jaisalmer they have the Desert Festival. It's fun three days. Them same Rajputs who burn buses, parade their nubile, teen daughters in the finery that would put Padmavat's costume jewelery to shame.

Forget the mythical princess allowing only a view through the reflected mirror - Them same Rajputs allow any visitor, views through different kinds of mirrors. - I used to be guilty of savouring them princesses-wanna-be-on-parade. On my last visit to the festival - More lenses were raised, by folks from more countries, than papparazis wanting to catch a glimpse of royals. I felt ikky, so did my lens. We had a chat, and my lens went oogling at them fine camels.

Yes, Toto you can oogle at all them rajput princesses in the month of Magh.....for free

So, we've returned to the 3D aspect of the conversation again, have we?

Finally, We see this in Tokyo. Is too much the color and dresses. Is true the royal women always wear so much jewellery ?

The music is very Baroque in composition. Choreography was very similar to Ichikawa, a late Japanese director.

Yes, their clothes were very colorful and they used to wear all that jewellery. No dearth of jewellery with them though these days young Royals skip that. The trend started with Maharni Gayatri Devi of Jaipur.
