I did see it . . . thought I might be the only one . . . found it on Amazon, not a good quality disc though.

Got it some months before my latest six-month stay in Anadavana (Feb - Aug of '06)

As a somewhat-budding videographer I found the accompanyingh book at least as helpful as the movie. The conversation between the film makers was worth it's weight in saffron.

I see you are a film maker . . . what are your thoughts?

Great film!

The verite style stands the test of time and beautifully documents India in a wonderful period before the big changes came. The Pujari is fantastic!

Another beauty is Johan van der Keuken’s Eye Above the Well.

Have yet to see Louis Malle's Phantom India.

So many stories... so little time...
