I honestly do not know how accurate the blog referenced below is but the correlation (which does not equate to causation) between the Swachh Bharat and Dengue statistics is worrisome...

This has been a sham, the only thing it is doing is building toilets, and we all know how construction corruption works, money down the drain. Fine, build toilets, but what about the rest of things that need to be done like proper garbage disposal and recycling etc?

The money that is being collected could have started some major projects Moreover, if an area is 100% open defecation free, that is termed as cleanest area, which obviously is a joke. So no wonder people are dying due to japanese encephalitis and dengue.

I had started a thread with great hope,, and I have already paid my obituaries on the thread, RIP 'Swachh Bharat Abhiyan', we never got to know each other, so cannot say will miss you.
If you find my posts confrontationist, please bear, I am an old frustrated guy who has nothing better to do than sit on rocking chair and curse the world whole day

A temporary improvement from a temporary program is how I read it. Then things go back to the norm of getting worse..

Data do not lie
Ha, ha, ha I could show a hundred examples otherwise, intentionally or innocently. 98% of students stay registered when their classes are cancelled. You would have to deregister yourself otherwise and who bothers? Rogoff has data that shows such and such. However, when two grad students look at the Excel spreadsheet they uncover a basic error that when corrected gives the exact opposite result. I gotta bridge in Brooklyn that I can sell you cheap kid. I won't quote Twain if you pay in Bitcoin..

Oh dear... Pick two things, associate them, rant.

The infrastructure of India is dire. Mosquitoes and their carried diseases is just one thing in the picture.

Actually, local workers here do go around. They dose things like our drainage pit. I don't know, but I don't think that any central govt named scheme has anything to do with it.
Life gets aadhar every day.

I don't need two things, just a mention of 'cleanliness' and I will rant
