End of an era. It was the first (and best?) of its kind. Times have moved on.

Fate to be decided on 25th

After a meeting, scheduled for Wednesday (25th February 2015), among the theatre’s management and Yash Raj Films, the screening of the blockbuster, ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’ (DDLJ), might extend for another seven or eight weeks.

It was earlier reported that the film will stop screening Thursday but due to public demand, the screening has been continued.

DDLJ to Continue in Maratha Mandir!

A Good News for history lovers:

Yashraj Films, the producer of DDLJ, has officially announced that "it has been mutually decided to continue the screening (of DDLJ) in the same 11:30 AM morning show - without breaking the uninterrupted run of the movie!"

It does not seem to a good news for the theater owners. They are losing out on 1 show of a new release. YRF should have agreed to an earlier show time. YRF should have considered the loss incurred by the theater.

It has to be a record of some sort. Over 1000 weeks now and expecting another few 100 weeks more.
