@Saurabh,

You are packing too many things I think. Sample "Doable" itenaries I can think of :-

Option 1:-

Chicmagalur + Udupi+ Malpe Beach(1 day)+ Kollur(1 Day) Makes it a relaxed 5 day trip with 2-3 days for exploring chicmagalur's tourist spots+Kemmanagundi+Baba Bhudagiri Hills

Option 2:-

Catch a Bus from Bangalore to Kalpetta (Wayanad's Main town) and spend 3 Nights/4 Days in Kalpetta exploring all Tourist spots of Wayanad

Option 3:-

Catch a Bus from Bangalore to Ooty and spend 3 days in ooty and Toy train Ride down to Plains (read Mettupalaiyam) and back to Bangalore From Coimbatore .

Option 4:-

Mysore + Coorg Will make a 5 day trip (In a Relaxed Manner).

Hope this is of some help. Please post the group composition , your mode of transport if you need more information.

Velu

Thanks a lot Velu.

One of my friends said that its monsoon season there and Forests and hill stations are not recommended in monsoon , specially with Family ( I have a two year kid).

DO you still think above itenary would fly.

Thanks

monsoon... only if it really is monsoon! with so little rain so far, you should not have any problems.

@Saurabh,

Your friend's concern is right.Off-late Monsoon picked up momentum and it's raining heavily (In Coorg,Wayanad, Ooty and Ghat Region)

Mysore and it's surrounding can be explored with ease . It wont rain heavily and Climate will be super-Fantastic during Monsoon period. If you are interested in Mysore. You can do the following.

Day 1:-

Palace+ zoo+ Karanji Lake + Chamundi Hills

(Do it in the same order and start the day by 9 am and be in chamundi hills post 5 pm+)

Day 2:-

Shrirangapatna's tourist spots + Ranganathittu bird Sanctuary + KRS (Brindavan Gardens)

(Do it in the same order . Start the day by 7 am and be in KRS post 5 pm+)

Day 3:-

Somanathpur + Shivsamudra Waterfalls+ Talakadu

(Do it in any order and start the day by 7:30 am)

Day 4:-

Vacate Mysore and do:

Shravanabelagola + Belur + Halebeedu

(Start by 6 am and do it in the same order)

Extend a Bit this itenary to make it 5-6 days as per your convenience.

Hope this is of some help
Velu
