Had been to Guhantara for a team outing last week and it turned out to be a reasonably good option. Guhantara is located 7 KMs after Art of Living ashram on Kanakpura road. There is a sign board on the right, after which there is a 2.5 Km route via a small road.

The resort is themed on caves. The entrance itself has been planned like a labyrinth and it is novel.

Facilities are good. The food court is like a big cave. Food is decent. The swimming pool under a small watrefall is scenic although small.

There are plenty of outdoor sport options like Cricket, team games, zorbing and ATB rides. You can even cycle over the property.

Indoor games available are Table tennis, carrom, pool and darts. There is a small kids play area as well.

The most popular section was the rain dance inside the cave!

Here are some snaps

Some 3-4 years back we had an in-house training program at Guhantara, for one whole week. We were a small group of some 25 odd people. We stayed there, had our training sessions in one of the rooms modeled as caves, and had fun in the evenings. The best part was, since it was away from Bangalore, no one 'escaped', and it was actually a good team building exercise.
There is a larger swimming pool near the conference halls, which also includes a kid pool, I think.
The rooms where we stayed were fun, no windows, only some ventilators and artificial light, with roots hanging down from the ceiling. The washroom was a also aesthetically made, to look more like a water pool inside the cave.
They fumigate the whole resort once every week to keep out rodents and insects that love underground areas.
Yeah rain dance was fun. Guhantara was fun, but one should have a good group.
