Hi Everybody!

We are a group of 4-5 friends visiting from Germany and Dubai and would be spending a 4-5 days in Bangalore starting 3rd May 2016 (Next week).

We hear that the weather is really hot in Bangalore and several other cities in India. Therefore we are looking for a quick 2-3 get away from Bangalore where the weather is considerably cooler, I guess the best options would be the hill stations that are within a 300km drive from Bangalore.. We have no big expectations, just cooler weather, some day activities like coffee/tea plantation visit and maybe some nature activities. We are happy to also chill and relax at some nice resort with spa treatments etc.

Has anybody been lately? Could any of you recommend some hill stations or places easily reachable from Bangalore in 4-5 hours?

I thank you in advance for all your answers!

Greetings from Dubai!

Coorg is quite hot during the day, this year it's even touched 33 I heard. Ooty, Kodai could an option, but considering the tourist and holiday season, it's expected to be crowded.

Hi,

If you need a Cooler try the hills of South India........If want an AC then visit the North Himalayan mountains.
There is nothing great in South if you want to beat the heat. Ooti and all are just small hills and not mountains so you will be disappointed.
If you have time constraint you can book a 2hrs flight from Bangalore and head towards north, Land in Delhi, drive to Himachal or Uttarakhand stay for a couple of days in the gigantic Himalayas and back by flight.
This is all you can do in 5days.

Cheers Keep travelling
