I'm traveling from Bangalore to Kacheguda for the Oktoberfest happening in Hitex (near to Hitec city railway station). I tried to book a Meru but it very expensive and I see plenty of trains from Kacheguda to Hitec City. I will be arriving at 7:00 am on Saturday. Is the train the best option? If I don't have enough time to get a ticket from the counter as I have luggage, how do I pay once I board the train? Also, are local trains like Mumbai, very crowded. I'm traveling alone, with two packs and can manage on my own usually. And are there easy transport options within Hitec city?

It does get crowded nowhere close to Mumbai. Also, if you wait a while, you can get an MMTS train to somewhere near hitec city. I forget the nearest train station but I got seating space. You should be able to buy a ticket from the station - they cannot be bought on-board. You could also get a bus from outside Kacheguda but I have not used one.

Should be OK. There is a ladies compartment AFAIK, so that should help.
