Hello All,

I am Deepak Kumar Nayak, from Cuttack, Orissa. I am planning a trip to Andhra pradesh. The places in mind are listed below.

1- Srikakulam- Srikurmam temple & Surya Temple
2- Vizag- Simhachalam temple, Kailash giri
3- Annavaram- Laxmi-Narayan temple.

I want to know whether there are any other interesting places in and around these areas. Please note that we are travelling by my chevrolet spark LS. Obviously, we will be moving in the NH-5. So please let me know if there is any places of interest (not in orissa, but inside Andhra) those we should also have a visit. Is Annavaram temple crowded??

And most importantly what are good hotel/dhaba (not in orissa, but inside Andhra) in these area. We prefer non-veg items and really looking for Dhaba like food rather than going for expensive Star-hotel foods.

So kindly suggest me ASAP with some ideas. Looking forward for your kind help and thank you all in advance.

Don't miss SrimukhaLingam temple. It is situated in SrimukhaLingam village near to Srikakulam town. It is 40 to 50 kms distance from Srikakulam.

If you have time try to visit Lova aka Thalupulamma Lova. It is on the way to Annavaram from Vizag and near to Tuni town.

Pithapuram is also a nice place 25 kms from Annavaram. It has many temples. Puruhutikha shakthipeetham(One of the 18 Sakhti Peethas), Kunthi Madhava temple(One of the PanchaMadhava temples). Pada Gaya temple(One of the Trigaya temples) and Sripada Srivallabha swamy temple

Hello Mr. Raju,

Thank you so much for providing these info.

I just Googled about Lova, are there few steps to climb to reach this temple?? If so how many?? As we will be travelling by Chevrolet Spark LS is it possible to reach this temple avoiding the steps??

Also, is it possible if you can suggest some good dhaba/hotels in the way??

Looking forward for hearing back from you.

Hi Mr. Raju,

Thank you again, I feel the steps are not very high in numbers looking at the images.

I have one more question, how crowded the Annavaram Laxmi Narayan swamy temple is?? Do you have any advice to avoid rush??

Crowd may be there. But i think it will be less than 1 hour. Don't forget to buy Prasadam at Annavaram. It is so tasty when it is hot.
