Is accommodation in Araku limited only to APTDC hotels or there exist private hotels also?
I ask since APTDC rates are rather on high side plus I have not heard reassuring tales about theri service.

The only place I know where they have cottages in Araku Valley would be Mayuri Hill resort. There might be more that I am not aware of. Its right opposite the Araku Bus station.

Cheers!

Hi

I advise APTDC package tour (rail cumRoad package). APTDC would take care of your food, travel & accomidation for two days. There is nothing much to see except Botanical Garden, Museum ang Borra Caves.
The other accomidation is not so good .

Other than AP tourism hotels in araku you have good private properties, they are very economical compared to AP tourism properties. you can look for hotel Rajadhani, ushodaya resorts, and many more.
