Will it be cool/cold in the evening in Delhi/Agra between 16-20th Nov?

Coming from the UK for a holiday and have been told it can get quite nippy in the evening so just wondering if I need to pack a big jumper or coat?

I doubt we'll be outside much past 7pm and I'd rather not pack something big like that if I have to!

Yeh that's what I've been looking at, the average lows.

We're getting highs of a bout 10c at the moment in the UK but the low of 10c will be in the dead of the night (i.e past midnight) in Agra/Delhi won't it?

Will it still be relatively warm at about 6-7pm? I don't want to have to pack a jumper/coat as we're only there for a few days and hopefully should be warmer as we move down through Jaipur-Udaipur-Mumbai-Goa.

Fog can settle-in the Ganges and Yamuna River valleys in winter; mid-November is at the outter edge of that possibility, but do be aware. As you've mentioned, you're from colder place than anything you'll find on your India trip, but for me, fog just adds that little-more, a little deeper cold than a clear-cold. If you don't want to pack anything for warmth, you can always buy a wool shawl, give it to someone as it gets warmer, or take it home as a gift for someone.

Thats a good idea actually! Might just do that, if not I'll just travel from the UK in a jumper and use that!

What's a jumper?

Anyway, it's important not to underestimate the cold. You don't want to become ill. Just in case, carry aspirin or tylenol. Also rub mosquito repellent. Although Diwali is supposed to mark the end of the dengue season, it's still headline news in Delhi even now.

Hi

It's got fairly cold in the evenings here in the Delhi region. I wore a light fleece hoodie last evening while going outdoors. I have to use the lightweight quilt at night now and keep windows closed. Day time is still pleasant - you may find it warm but evenings and nights a light jacket will come in handy.
