I'm about to fly to india, and need a car service from Dehli Airport to The Radisson hotel Agra.

The hotel have quoted Rs8800 plus taxes.

This seems a little steep.

Any idea what the prepaid taxis at the airport would charge? would they even go that far?

Any other suggestions?

Many thanks to all the amazing help so far for this trip Indiamike members!

Never a one way ! Gurgaon to Agra (Taj) was about 230+ km. You figure Radisson Blu/Agra to T3 to be about 240 km. The driver will come from Agra, plus waiting time ? plus parking fee, plus chaipani ? Then pick the passenger and head back. Round trip is 470-480. Feb '14 for Innova(sp?) was Rs 12/km. We are talking 5790 just for base miles.

Waiting and Parking is a she-dawg !!! No one is doing this for free ! Even a relative expects something in return maybe a box for Godiva. Then there is the tuk-tuk-wali issue ! Wonder what she'd want !

Thanks for the Info.... getmecab.com have quoted Rs3800 which is fantastic... although their advance payment option won't accept my UK debit card.

Will try again later with a credit card.

Just to update I emailed getmecab.com and they replied that they have a lot of problems with their advance payment option for foreign cards, they asked for a scanned copy of my passport and confirmed the booking, fingers crossed it all works out. Less than 2 weeks to go till my 11 week trip!
