Friends
we will reach agra on 27th by 11am. And have to reach delhi on next day by 5.30pm. (My hptdc bus to manali is at 6pm).

Please advice me, how can we use the given time effectively for visiting agra.

Booked my stay already.

Thank you

After lunch leave for Fatehpur Sikri, then come back to Agra to see Chini Ka Rauza, Itimad Ud Daulah and Mehtab Bagh.

Next day early morning see Taj Mahal, Agra Fort and Sikandra.

For second day after your Taj Mahal visit, ask the hotel to book a cab for Delhi Mandi House after seeing the Fort and Sikandara. It would be better if you leave Agra by 1:30 - 2:00 and ask the cab to take the Yamuna Expressway.

If the onward bus to Manali is HPTDC it will leave from Chanderlok building, Atul Grove Road (off Janpath). An option is to take a train that arrives at Hazrat Nizamuddin station no later than 5 pm in the evening and an auto for the half hour ride in-between. Use erail.in to check which train suits you. It's a 3 hour run between Agra-Delhi.

A cab is a more convenient option (as aarosh has suggested earlier), but it's a rated drive time of close to 3 hours plus. So you'd leave Agra around the same time as the train but at a higher cost.

Seems to me you're trying to pack too much into one day. I'd suggest saving Mathura/Vrindavan for another trip.

Skip the sites mentioned in day 2. Leave for Mathura after having an early breakfast.

... You will have to skip Day 1 program suggested by aarosh and do Day 2 program on Day 1.

You may engage a cab on Day 1 at Agra to go to Delhi via Mathura and Vrindavan.

You may google "agra delhi cab fare" and talk to few agencies.

They will inform you the current rate. It could be around Rs 2,400/- to Rs 3,000/- by Indica.

You will have options of buses also from Agra to Delhi or any train which could reach Delhi by afternoon.
