Le Royale is a splendid private home that receives visitors. It is nothing like a hotel, it is much better. You not only have your room for use, but their is also a very grand communal room for the guests to use. It is very well suited for families with small kids, as there is ample space to play. There is even an inhouse cinema. Aswimming pool will probably be ready by february 06. Le Royale is run by the adorable Jenny and Jose, who do their utmost to fullfill all wishes of their guests. Jenny cooks excellent Keralan meals or western food if you like. They also run a travel agency, so they can help you with your onward travels. Highly recommended!. Fully air conditioned. De luxe living area for the guests to use, well guarded, backup power supply . . 24 hour running hot water, satellite TV and Internet, laundry, travel agency. In house cinema(!), excellent meals to order. Le Royale Kochi (Cochin) Rates and Room Information

Jenny, Jose and their staff made our stay in India. We were undecided how to arrange our itinery, so after talking it over with Jenny we agreed a budget, where we wanted to visit etc and within a day she had it all organised. The variety of accommodation was good ranging from homestays to a luxury health resort. Our drivers ... read more »

We splashed out on Le Royale- based on this site's reviews. It is one of the few places that everyone has reviewed positively- and rightly so. After the cold rains of Munar we felt we deserved a treat and were touched by the jasmine welcome that set the standard. Jenny and especially Sajeev were great hosts- just really friendly ... read more »

To echo those before me, Jenny will take fantastic care of you and hers is definitely the best food I have had in 2 1/2 years in India. We used her Fourens Travel Agency to do our 5-day tour of Cochin, Munnar, Alleppy (houseboat) and Kallencherry and we were happy with all her choices. She gave a very personal touch to all the ... read more »

Jenny and her family provided more than a place to stay. She and husband Jose arranged for a driver (and friend - Sajeev) to meet us in Bangalore and serve as companion throughout southwest India. The guide they arranged, Sabu, was articulate, educated and engaging. In short, they provided us with good company and unique insight. ... read more »

I had a wonderful time staying at Le Royale. It is a splendid house with every comfort. My hosts Jenny and Jose couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful. I have stayed at Le Royale many times, and it is like my home from home!
The owners, Jenny and Jose (who live in a seperate house about ½ a mile away) have become personal friends of ours over the years, and we can't recommend Le Royale highly enough.
