Wow - great shot. That game bird is high! My bird books says the range of the Common Hill Partridge is only upto 4000 meters. At any rate he was living life dangerously out there on the open hillside.

sadly this one lacks a bit omtapas - the background is very distracting if you had gone with a larger aperture it might have given more bokeh to the shot
