Several of these prehistoric burial chambers are scattered over the huge rock face at Pious Nagar, Marayoor, and in the surrounding valleys as well as in the Chinnar forest. Few visitors venture past the first few Muniyaras behind the govt school. If they do, they will be rewarded by an overwhelming, awe inspiring sight of our prehistoric heritage.
