The approach by train (this was in the days when the train stopped here) was really exciting... from nearly a kilometre away we could hear the roar and feel the dampness drifting over us with heads out of the window!

This is truly spectacular. I have often heard about the Dudhsagar Falls but never imagined them to be this beautiful. Your photo has convinced me to visit this monsoon. Did you take this from the train or did you go to the pool at the base?
