Traveling eastward in Tamil Nadu in mid-Dec., don't ask me from where to where exactly, heading towards Chidambaram methinks. There had been a rare belated second monsoon that winter in the track of which we sort of followed. No major inconvenience to us other than traffic and electricity supplies being a little more erratic than usual. A major pain for the local villagers.
