Gently chugging along again, going Chennai-Bangalore this time; I liked the landscape here, so figured OK why not include this train ride vid as well. I reckon this would be Tamil Nadu still, though just across the border in Karnataka I guess wouldn't be impossible. Note also the vendors and pantry boys audibly passing by in the background as usual.

Moving by 2S, or Second Chair Class, sort of the daytime chair equivalent of Sleeper Class. More on that particular subject with the pic at http://www.indiamike.com/photopost/s...89/ppuser/5654 .

It's a beautifull contribution. Thanks.
It is definitely not the high speed train. Good for us. Gives us the opportunity to view the landscape closely. It seems to be warm, but the fields are still a kind of green. It makes me guessing which month of the year it is.

The real India is less romantic then our photo's and video's suggest!

Thanks again, Joph; it's a pity how nearer the end the close-up shots (ground passing by) get all choppy again, due to the compression process, the original doesn't have this. Oh well.

And fast we obviously weren't going, no Hey, you know how those trains may pick up speed, slow down again, etc., for no apparent reasons (allowing for other train traffic to pass probably one major reason, in fact. Faster trains taking precedence, etc.) Just sit back & settle into the flow, right

And you saw well again: This was taken at the very end of March, 2009.
