I also visited the confluence at Khab but could not spot this sign. Where was this sign ?

MonkeyBoy I think it was near road on right side ....sorry can't remember much though now (as it's almost 7 years back) ....Uttam this was in June 2002 & shot with basic cell phone .3 MP camera(only digicam I had that time  ) thats why all the images in this series are not that sharp/colorful/vibrant as others .

Oh wow ! Swapnil this sign is not there now, I passed over the Khab bridge on 25th June 2009 and this sign is not there.
I was surprised how I missed this because I had explored the area around the confluence for about an hour or so.
Very nice pic indeed. A very prolific sign, depicting the confluence of the two most mighty rivers of the area.

Really is it so ? Sign must have been moved/washed away/destroyed over period of time. As you said ...if this sign is not there now then how you came to know about exact location of confluence ?

Swapnil, thats what I thought that time must have had its toll on the sign. We were told by locals that the two rivers meet on the Khab bridge. From the Khab bridge I could clearly see two rivers meeting.
Was your photo taken close to the Khab bridge? I will soon post my pics of the area.
