The ultra serene Bhoothathankettu lake abutting the Thattekadu Sanctuary nr Kothamangalam. This lake is about 45min drive away from Cochins Nedumbassery airport.
Several picnicking school children drowned here in 2007 when their overcrowded boat capsised. Boating is banned ever since.
