This motley regatta of KTDC and Forest Dept. boats set off together from the boat jetty at Periyar. They have a secret pact with the animals, so that at least the elephants, bisons, sambars and boars put on a daily show for the morning visitors. Note the boats turning in procession as they head for a bank full of wildlife!
