One of its kind - the Teak Museum is maintained by the Kerala Forest Research Institute ( hope I got that right ). Nilambur is home to some of the oldest teak plantations in the world, and its just natural that a Teak Museum had to come up there.
The museum gives you the complete story of teak, including some imposing cross sections, various grades, usage of teak, and even holds study sessions once in a while.
