ok pal that isn't the simbhor beach and that is the ghogla beach and the diu fort in the background ...i should know..i've swum the length.
However maybe it looks like this on the photo....cause the simbhor outpost(& NOT fort) is small and about 500 metres from the beach line..heck maybe this photo has been taken from the simbhor village end...hmmm..duh.
Good photo and will try to send some myself as soon as i finish learning how this computer-internet things and hitech stuff works. tried sending some good naida cave snaps but didn't happen..will soon though..don't want to be left behind...thats why the mention of naida caves on my reply.

This image was taken from the Simbhor village side. When approaching the village from Delawada we made a right turn down the dirt road which led to the beach (there are two roads).
On the beach entrance there is a small building on the left and another small building on the right.
If you were standing where the photo was taken there is actually an old smaller building standing empty just off the shore line towards the right. Impossible to reach without a good swim or boat. I have another photo of this building but it's a bad shot and didn't publish it.
