In Bengali there is a word pronounced as 'Doordanto' which in English means 'smashing'. Seeing your photo I could only utter 'doordanto!' in my mother tongue. Just want to clear few doubts - is it solid ice on the near-end of the photo and that's immense rush of water on the far-end? Since it is a bird's eye view you got from Mt. Shivling, is there any altitudinal difference betweeen the ice level and the water-level which perhaps is not very aparent in the photo? Rating: 10 |

Globalgoldie - This is not a trek ... it's a full-scale mountaineering expedition.I don't have expedition report in soft-copy format but you may ask queries if any. doIhavetoReally - You are absolutely right ..."Touching the void" is one of the best mountaineering movie I've seen & what could be the better title for the picture like this ?
