To add to Delhiwala's post, a much cheaper accommodation is at Kadmat island in the government run tourist cottages. Check details at
http://www.lakshadweeptourism.com/ http://lakshadweeptourism.nic.in/web4.htm Beach-bar? Alcohol is banned on the islands, however they all seem to enjoy their home brewed tipple. I was there more than 10 years ago. Another member Clive G went recently if you want to get in touch with him.

Lakshadweep?
thanks for first answers!
We don't look for a place like Goa. Actualy we love it shanti and nice - and we don't like plenty of bars, clubs, lounges..... What we're looking for is a nice place. There is nothing else to do then swimming, chilling, snorkling (we don't dive), eating... So one week will be enough for a relax-stop-over? Sorry, but I have some more questions: Is it worth, to make this trip? What have you paid for the flight? What company flies there? What is the "airports" name? Ferries? How long does it take? And from where the ferry leaves? Thank you ... all of you! |
