Only Tatas qualify as Home grown in Car technology..they were the company which made India one of Nine(??) countries in the world, who can make their own cars..

Thanks for the reply Nick, I'm sure we'll work out the tax issue with the company once we know how they wish to proceed.

I've got to say that I do like my car purely on size and feeling reasonably safe with all the mad drivers on the roads here in the Emirates!

Without intending to open a big driving debate (Rohan will understand this if he reads 7Days!)I have heard that the unspoken rule of driving in India is the smaller yielding to the bigger? So you may get my point in maintaining the current so speak??
I have 3 children to taxi about so I like to feel as though we have a car that maximises the safety in an accident.

Rohan, the more common 3 beds.. would they generally have a maid's room? Our maid would be coming with us so we would need an extra room for her too..

Thanks

And tax exemption for female it is upto Rs145000 and for senior citizens, that is those above 65 years of age, tax exemption is upto Rs195000.

That's funny... I had the idea that Amyth was male too .

Oh well, at least she doesn't own an audi.

Think I'd better stay in after school and do some member profile revision!

You know what Nick, even I was under the impression that Amyth was male. Didn't want to post it as other's might have thought that two mistakes of the same nature in two days is a bit too much.

I was actually thinking that Amyth is a very smart way of saying Amit (a very Indian male name).

Requesting admission into your school, into the special needs class.

Does your school also give music lessons? It's become difficult for us Hippo's to find a teacher. Somebody has been spreading rumours about us lately .

Initially even I thought so...but some time back I realized that she might be a female...

but it was hard to believe as she is all witty and humorous..a quality I hardly find in females...

But here she is..clarifying all the doubts...
