Hello,

The piano was purchased in the US and shipped over. As for cost, the piano itself was somewhere between $750 - $800 (it was a gift from Mr. Kit-Cat); since it came with all of the rest of our stuff, I really can't say how much it cost to ship. I do know there are some teachers in Pune, but I do not have their contact information.

The NPR shows are available online...which means you can either pause them, or play them over and over and over until you actually hear the entire thing...

I am still working on getting out more. My sister-in-law is getting married soon so everything is in a tizz...I was able to carry on a meaningful conversation in Marathi with a shopkeeper today...go me!!

P.S. Haze - the shopkeeper wanted to take Miss!! Ackk!!

Yay. That must feel awesome to grasp the language enough to talk with strangers! Hope I get there someday.

Thanks abt the piano. We currently have a digital piano keyboard thing... I guess we could pay to ship it.

NPR- the internet has changed so much! I really feel much better about moving when I remember I will still have my internet... I can even watch the daily show from anywhere!
