Hi All! I've searched the net for a Teacher Training Course in India and I'm very confused
the prices are between $2000 to EUR4500... at the same time 'no offence' but rates for indians are no more than EUR100... I'm sitting here and wonderring how much money should i make to be able to afford a course in India. I dream to do it for so long. I live in a country where average salary is EUR300 per month and i teach yoga for less than Eur100 a month. Please tell me what is it about a EUR4000 yoga training. And more important could anyone suggest a nice certified place for TTC training. Thank you all for your time!Namaste, Neve ![]() |

Not all places charge that much.I did my TTC for 1150euros and the place had only 5 seats ,so no crowd. The course was conducted under personal guidance and was really worth.

The cost at Sivananda.org is USD 300 or Euro 200, and it is one of the most respected institutions in India. (http://www.sivananda.org/ttc/general.html)

In Rishkesh (maybe somone will remember the name)over Ram Julla and going right to the end on the leftside is a Ashram that gave a month long yoga course 2 hours morning 2 hours afternoon and a lecture after morning class was 2 years ago 4000 Rps.

I am sorry, that was a big mistake. USD 300 was the non-refundable deposit. The cost is upward of USD 2,000. Damn costly, whoever conducts it. http://www.sivananda.org/ttc/schedule.html

Paramartha Ashram is very popular because of their Ganga worship, but the cost of courses is not given. One would have to write to them for info.

and the iyengar one seems not to be a TTC. To be expected as I believe in that system you have to practice it for a number of years before applying for a TTC.
