Yoga Teachers Training Courses

Hi,
I'm trying to find a 4week TT course in the north of India. I'm a little overwhelmed by all the information and threads on this site so forgive me if i'm repeating a question!

I've been looking at the Sivananda course...it sounds truly wonderful and i'm very much interested in understanding the true core of yoga which this course seems to focus on. My only concerns are the large classes...and if these result in a lack of personal attention etc. And also if I will know enough asanas and practical knowledge to be able to walk away and start teaching a beginners or intermediate class...or will I need further study in say, Hatha yoga to be able to put a class together?

Is there another course that anyone can recommend?

Hi,

I was going to do the Sivananda ttc course in Gangotri in October but had to drop out due to illness. As far as I know though from my own research that particular ashram limits classes to 30. There is a brilliant video about the TTC at that ashram on youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fsilUNlM1YM that you should check out if you are at all interested in that course

What i do love about them is there is lots of attention, many different teachers, and a beautiful setting,

there is a great TT course in delhi. it is run in a priemier university Jawahar lal univ. A couple of my freinds did it and really liked it. If you are looking for a course in delhi, i can link you to them , lemme know ;0
